MA Industrial Relations & Managing
Human Resources
Our study programme consists of five core modules and two elective modules, plus a project & dissertation. You will explore the future of work and employment, from the rights and interests of employees to the relationship between people management and organisational competitiveness. The programme starts in October 2012, and extends beyond the normal undergraduate term dates.
If you want a career specialising in the management and development of people, you'll benefit from a qualification from the CIPD. Complete our requirements and undertake some additional skills training, and you can gain Graduate Membership of the CIPD as well as your MA from WBS.
Entry requirements
Academic qualifications:
For the MA Industrial Relations & Managing Human Resources, we expect one of: A first- or upper second-class honours bachelor's degree from a United Kingdom university; The equivalent from an overseas university.
English:
If English is not your first language, we expect you to meet one of the following minimum overall standards: 1. IELTS 7.0 with maximum of two components at 6.0+; or TOEFL (iBT) 100 with minimum component scores of L21, R22, W21, S23;
GMAT & GRE
We do not require a GMAT or GRE score for this course. Neither will substitute for an academic qualification.
